Dr Angela Servis, Founder and Clinical Lead

Dr Angela Servis

Founder and Clinical Lead

BMBS, MRCGP, PgDip Aes, PgDip Endo

Dr Angela Servis is a GMC registered general practitioner with a Diploma in Endocrinology, and the founder of Eden Clinic. She joined the British Army in 2005 and qualified in medicine in 2008, training while she served. Her military career began in Germany with the Royal Engineers and ended with 3 Commando Brigade, and she left in 2022 after sixteen years in uniform. Those sixteen years were spent caring for a patient population that was overwhelmingly male. It was there that she began to think men's health needed a deeper and more detailed understanding than it was getting, and that something was missing from what was available. She started to research the different modalities used to treat men, and to test each of them against the published evidence. The work kept returning to one thing, the diagnosis and management of testosterone deficiency, and that is what Eden Clinic was built to do. She has practised medicine for eighteen years and has worked in men's health since 2020, first with another clinic and now in her own. She is a member of the BSSM, ESSM, ISSM and the Androgen Society. She teaches both days of the masterclass herself.

Felix Hay, Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Felix Hay

Advanced Clinical Practitioner

BSc (Hons) Nursing, MMedSci

Felix Hay is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with twenty years in healthcare, most of it in emergency medicine. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Nursing and a Master's in Medical Sciences, passed with distinction. He also works in hormone replacement therapy. Hormone deficiency is under-recognised and sometimes misdiagnosed, and men can end up on medication they do not clinically need. Felix wants that to change, by raising awareness and promoting hormonal health through education and the critical appraisal of the published literature. His clinical decisions are informed by evidence, not opinion. He is clear with patients that the result depends on what both sides put in. Felix is a certified instructor in paediatric advanced life support for the Advanced Life Support Group, so teaching is already part of his job. He teaches alongside Dr Servis on the masterclass.
